If you click this button, you’ll be returned to the main screen of character list options. If you click this button, the Edit User List dialog will open so that you can edit the scene location user list. Type the text that you want to be added to the character lists for the selected scene locations. These are the scene locations in the scene body user list. Select the ones that you want to add atmosphere in the character lists. If you check this option, any ordinary parenthesized text at the end of a Character Name element will appear in character lists. Otherwise, the character list will omit such parenthesized text. This option is dimmed because you have not selected the Use Scene Information option in the Edit Script Formats dialog. If you check this option, only the first Scene Heading after a Scene Information element will have a character list. If you check this option, character lists will be in bold style. If you check this option, character lists will be in ALL CAPS style. This option is dimmed because the option to include non-speaking characters is not checked. If you check this option, names tagged as Cast within parentheses in Dialogue elements will count as nonspeaking characters. If you check this option, character lists will include character names that appear in Action, names tagged as Cast in Script Notes, and possibly names tagged as Cast in parentheses within Dialogue. If you click this button, you’ll see an alternate screen in which you can set the “atmosphere” text and which scenes will have that text added to their character lists. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to get back here. If you click this button, the Edit User List dialog will open so that you can modify the character name user list. If you choose this option, each character list will consist of the names that are also in the character name user list, then the other speaking characters, then the other nonspeaking characters. If you choose this option, each character list will first list the characters that are also in the character name user list, followed by other characters in alphabetic order. If you choose this option, each character list will first list the speaking characters in order of appearance, followed by nonspeaking characters in order of appearance. If you choose this option, each character list will list the names in the order in which the characters first appear in the scene. If you choose this option, each character list will be in alphabetic order.
